The world was already battling with the uninvited guest called novel coronavirus when other disheartening events also commenced happening. Well, the death of George Floyd in the hands of police had sparked a series of protests from people across the world where few of the protestors even tried to cause harm to the historical statues.

In a reply to those, United States President Donald Trump has issued a warning against those who try to harm the historical or any statue. He claimed that anyone who would try or put a step forward in destroying or harming the statue would be automatically put under the bars for a substantial period.

He raised the voice against the harming of the statues through a Tweet that read, “No, Radical Left anarchists, agitators, looters or protesters will not be knocking down or harming the Washington Monument, the Lincoln or Jefferson Memorials, or just about any other Federal Monument or Statue. If they even try, an automatic 10 years in prison. Sorry!”

Meanwhile, United States President Donald Trump had earlier been vocal about the incidents and showed agitation over the people who resort to putting down statues of the historical people. Trump has even called the monument or statue work as the artwork which takes up a lot of emotions, time and patience to be built.

He had earlier stated that he would issue an executive order which would help in protecting the statues or monuments from being destroyed, damaged, or harmed. While talking to one of the media outlets, Trump said, “We are going to do an executive order and make the cities guard their monuments. This is a disgrace.”

Also, Trump expressed that he was literally shaken after the protestors took a San Francisco statue of Ulysses S. Grant. Grant was apparently the commanding general of the United States Army during the final 13 months of the Civil War.
