Man secretly films 2 women in a Florida hotel

Two women who were staying in a DoubleTree hotel in Florida were secretly filmed by a man when one among them was possibly taking a shower. The man also admitted to recording people in the past years as well. 

According to the police, Robert Mann Privette, who hails from Summerville in South Carolina was trying to record the two women who booked their room which was adjoining to his room on July 16. Well, one of the women who went to take a bath, realized that something fishy and unusual was happening. 

As narrated by the two women, one of them said that they had come from a beach and of them went to take a bath. While the other lady was standing facing the mirror, she saw a long black cord that was coming from the door of the adjoining room. When she checked the cord thoroughly, it was found out that the camera was attached to it. The woman yelled and asked about the cord but no movement was experienced until the cord was taken back. Apparently, the woman heard someone running around in the adjoining room and slamming a door as if someone was trying to escape. 

The woman had then informed the hotel staff about it and the police as well. According to the reports, Privette was initially trying to be apathetic towards the whole incident but later, he had admitted to committing the crime several times in the past. He also claimed that he tried to record those women earlier but couldn’t save the recording. 

The police stated in its reports, “Privette admitted to using his camera multiple times during his trips for work, all over the country. When asked how many times he has used the camera to spy on people, Privette could not give an exact answer, he could only say 10 plus times over the past year.”
