Lili Reinhart says she feels like a prisoner going back to work
Well, coronavirus hasn’t been good for anyone! Lili Reinhart has been called back to Canada for shooting the remainder of Riverdale. Coming back to work in the midst of a pandemic feels like risking yours and everyone’s life around but life has to move on, so does the seasons.
While interacting with one of the news outlets, Lili Reinhart opened up about returning to work and said, “We stopped during the prom episode, so I have to fit back in that prom dress. Five months later, we’re all going to be tan, maybe a little bit thicker. I certainly am. I genuinely feel like a prisoner, going back to work, because I cannot leave Canada. That doesn’t feel good. You can’t go home for Thanksgiving, can’t visit your family. No one can come to visit you unless they quarantine for two weeks. It just feels f–ked. I’m very lucky, but it’s like, ‘I need to keep going. I need to keep going.”
Apparently, everyone goes through a tough phase of being lost which also happened with Lili and she mentioned it in her own words. “At the beginning of this pandemic, I felt very lost. I felt very sad and hopeless, because of personal things that were happening in my life. Instead of distracting myself, f–king random people and doing drugs and drinking my problems away, I chose the harder route, which was to not distract myself. I was like, ‘I’m not doing that. I’m going to go through the next however many months of s—t, pure s—t, awful, crying every day, but the necessary work,” Reinhart said.
However, she claimed that this phase gave her time to retrospect and practice good mental health therapies like chilling, spending alone time, and others. “This gave me time to, for the first time in four years, step back and process what has happened in the past couple years, process my emotions, and just process my s–t,” she added.
