While the pandemic which was not experienced before has tested everybody’s patience and calm where almost everything was shut and few people managed to stay with their kin during the whole period and some people had to stay away from their families.

The same happened in the case of Mary Daniel as she couldn’t stay with her husband for as long as 114 days due to the spread of novel coronavirus. Mary’s husband Steve had been diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer disease and he had been living at Rosecastle Assisted Living and Memory Care facility in Jacksonville since then. Before the pandemic had hit the entire world, Mary used to visit her husband every night but she couldn’t manage to meet him after the novel coronavirus.

She gave a statement to one of the media outlets and said, “I put him in a memory care center and everything was going really, really well. He was thriving with all the people, and in March, obviously, everything changed.” It was also reported that Mary wrote around 100 letters to Gov. Ron DeSantis in regard to visiting her husband but nothing could be of help. She also explained how she managed to get a window visit and how her husband used to just cry, looking at her.

Well, after a number of trials, the corporate contacted Mary and announced that they would be really interested in giving her a dishwasher job. Being overwhelmed, she took the job without any second thought and she got to meet her husband after these many days of struggle. Explaining the happiness on her husband’s face, Marry said, “He was teary-eyed. He touched my face, even with my mask on.”

She wrote about the same news on her Facebook updates which read, “After 114 days I got to hug my husband today. I also washed a lot of dishes. Proof where there’s a will there’s a way! I love you, Steve Daniel!”
